Glenfiddich is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky owned and produced by William Grant & Sons in Dufftown, Scotland — one of the last and largest remaining independently and family-owned whisky distilleries in Scotland. Glenfiddich means ‘Valley of the Deer' in Gaelic, hence the iconic stag symbol on each bottle of its best-selling and most-awarded single malt Scotch whisky in the world. The 18-year is aged and finished in fine Spanish Oloroso wood and American oak barrels crafted in the Grant family’s onsite cooperage, then each of the no more than 150 batches are individually numbered and carefully watched over by Malt Master Brian Kinsman. Tasting notes tell of a dark gold Scotch that's rich with oak, baked apple, and cinnamon.
